Location Overview
In August 2014 ASM Global, then SMG, was awarded the contract to manage U.S. Bank Stadium located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. U.S. Bank Stadium, owned by the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. With over 66,000 seats, this state-of-the-art facility hosts prominent national and international programming including concerts, family shows, college and high school sporting events, conventions, trade/consumer shows, community events and corporate or private meetings. U.S. Bank Stadium is the home of the Minnesota Vikings, ESPN’s Summer X Games (2017 - 2020), Super Bowl LII (2018), the NCAA Men’s Final Four (2019) and the NCAA DI Wrestling Championships (2020).
U.S. Bank Stadium is certified LEED Platinum for Operations and Maintenance (O+M), certified LEED Gold for Building Design and Construction (BD+C) and was awarded the 2019 International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Venue Excellence Award. In its first three years of operating, U.S. Bank Stadium has welcomed more than 4.6 million visitors at over 1,150 public and private events and has hosted more than 6,700 tours.

  • Prior to opening, produced comprehensive facility operating projections, along with a detailed staffing plan, management plan and pre-opening manual
  • Exceeded NOI forecast with over 600 events in first full year of operation
  • Secured multiple live performances including Luke Bryan, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Justin Bieber, U2, and Coldplay in first operating year

  • Within the first 2.5 years of opening, U.S. Bank Stadium welcomed 4.1 million guests at over 1,000 events

  • Earned top industry management award, IAVM’s 2019 Venue Excellence Award, within three years of being opened
  • Became the first professional sports stadium to achieve LEED Platinum for Operations and Maintenance using the Arc Performance Platform
