Hello Wembley! The SSE Arena, Wembley (formerly known as Wembley Arena) is globally renowned as the UK’s most iconic entertainment venue. With a rich history that goes back to its days as the Empire Pool and Sports Arena, the building has played host to numerous events including the 1948 and 2012 Olympics. The venue now boasts a £35 million refurbishment and a winning partnership with SSE. The famous stage has been graced by the likes of Madonna, David Bowie, The Who, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and even The Beatles and Rolling Stones who shared the same bill at the 1966 NME Poll Winners Party.

  • First film World Premiere 2018/2019 was the Oscar-winning Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
  • A record number of K Pop shows in 2019 - Blackpink, NCT127, Monsta X and GOT7
  • Twenty One Pilots x 3 sold out nights March 2019
  • The venue’s first two all-night events took place, with Andy C and Armin van Buuren – artists came on at midnight and show finished 5am.
  • Wembley’s first-ever drag shows - Ru Paul's Werq The World Tour in May 2019 and Bianca Del Rio in Sept 2019
  • Slayer and Lynyrd Skynyrd both visited Wembley on their farewell tours
  • Esports – regular host the Esports Championship Series and have hosted League of Legends events.
  • Regular host of large-scale televised events including Britain’s Got Talent Champions, X Factor and 2017 MTV EMAs.
