Caesars Superdome

12

ASM Global, which was created in October 2019 from the merger of SMG and AEG Facilities, has operated the Caesars Superdome since it opened in 1977.
The Caesars Superdome is the home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and has served as a host site for seven Super Bowls, four NCAA Final Four Men’s Basketball Championships, three NCAA BCS College Football National Championships and two NCAA college bowl games each season. More than just a football stadium, the Superdome also hosts an array of corporate events, trade shows, conventions, live music festivals, and other events that produce economic impact for the region.
ASM Global’s Superdome operations have helped transform New Orleans into a year-round sports destination, pumping billions of dollars into the local economy. After being ravaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, ASM Global was tasked with overseeing what would become the single largest stadium reconstruction project in U.S. history. When the Superdome re-opened just a year later, it drew international praise and served as an inspiration that breathed new life into the city’s post-disaster recovery.
