The KFC Yum! Center has helped transform Louisville into a year-round sports and entertainment destination, pumping more than an estimated $700 million dollars into the local economy since opening in 2010.
The venue is the home of NCAA Division I University of Louisville men’s and women’s basketball teams and has served as a host site for several NCAA Men’s and Women’s Championship events. Hosting more than 115 events annually, the arena attracts several top grossing tour performances annually, in addition to high profile sporting events, family shows, conferences, conventions and meetings. The KFC Yum! Center is a pillar in the community contributing heavily to the tremendous growth in tourism to the Louisville region over the past 9 years. And the venue and its staff regularly give back by hosting more than 20 community events annually.

  • Implemented over $3 million in renovations and upgrades to the building since it opened, including over $2 million in the current year to replace the IPTV solution and the LED Lighting conversion. Other major purchases/upgrades include a new stage, new audio amplifiers and suite level flooring.
