Communities Overview

ASM Global is proactive in our support of making the world and the communities we serve better places now and in the future. We care because it’s the right thing to do. Responsibility and sustainability are woven in, not added on.

Sustainability is not only about natural resources and the environment, but also the local communities where we live and serve, and the economic impact we seek to expand. We will always work to implement and participate in programs that extend beyond the walls of our venues. We are front and center in our communities, contributing to nonprofit organizations and making social investments, inspiring diversity and inclusiveness, and supporting sustainability and the environment.

In addition to our corporate programs and initiatives, each of our local venues has formal programs for sustainability, community involvement, diversity, education and other corporate responsibility programs. You can read about them in more detail in many of the venues’ websites.

9 Education

ASM Global supports community-based organizations and schools that focus on educational opportunities and enhancing learning for youth grades K-12. Our team members support these education efforts by becoming mentors, speakers and volunteers with partner organizations and schools. Our community affairs team works with community partners to develop and implement meaningful programs that focus on reading, technology, college readiness and career prep.

Health & Wellness

ASM Global is committed to the health and wellness of our local citizens with a special emphasis on youth. We actively support local hospitals, community centers, and organizations that give the members of our community the opportunity to participate in fun, safe and organized recreation activities. We also support local hospitals by participating in fundraising activities, and providing special experiences for children, patients and their families.

The Arts

ASM Global is focused on creating awareness and opportunities for youth to discover and learn about careers in the arts, music and entertainment. By hosting job shadowing, offering guest speakers and sponsoring educational trips, we provide industry insight to the next generation of creative minds and support the organizations that are committed to the development of youth through the arts.

We believe that our broad venue network and deep guest engagement uniquely position us to raise public awareness about environmental sustainability issues. Our goal is to serve as an industry leader in environmental program implementation and stewardship through a partnership with our guests, team members, partners and communities.

Today, ASM Global venues around the world track monthly environmental performance metrics related to Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Water Consumption and Waste Reduction.

Educating our Future Leaders

We are a global company that offers team members varied opportunities for development and advancement. To encourage growth, team members receive continual training in customer service, security, and leadership, as well as targeted subject-matter internal and external seminars and courses.

We have tuition reimbursement programs and diversity scholarship opportunities for college students. We also offer internship programs that are designed to provide students the opportunity to work in a privately managed facility, learning building operations and management skills. These programs put candidates on the fast track for career opportunities within our organization.
