The Venue

The Role

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our venue in the heart of Newcastle. As a key contributor, you will spearhead the sale of tickets, hospitality packages, live events and advertising initiatives. If you have a flair for innovative marketing and sales strategies, we want to hear from you!

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies with the Head of Sales and Marketing.
  • Driving premium ticket sales and promote the Arena to enhance its industry profile.
  • Managing and updating databases, venue website, and promotional materials.
  • Planning and implementing marketing campaigns for premium, advertising, and corporate events, managing the budget effectively.
  • Supporting sales of hospitality packages and event tenancies.
  • Fostering and managing relationships with appropriate local communities to foster goodwill, support sponsorships, suite sales, hospitality and maximise these to ensure high levels of retention and repeat business.
  • Assisting with major sponsorships and naming rights.
  • Managing the corporate booking system and CRM for client data and events.
  • Producing reports and meet sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensuring team success and compliance with industry standards.
  • Attending promotional events, handle inquiries, and ensure accurate contracting and invoicing.

You will have:

  • A strong sales background, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing client data.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and KPIs while managing budgets effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
A degree of flexibility is necessary as some evening and weekend work may be required.
