About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and responsible Maintenance Engineer to manage building services, infrastructure, and equipment across our venues. You will take full ownership of reactive, planned, and scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including the upkeep of gas boilers.
- Take charge of planned and reactive maintenance for gas distribution systems and commercial appliances, keeping everything running safely and efficiently.
- Service circulation pump sets, motorized valves, and pressurization units to maintain system performance.
- Maintain mechanical drive systems, including critical smoke extract systems, ensuring safety and ventilation standards.
- Maintain and test fire-fighting equipment, including sprinkler systems, to ensure the safety of everyone on site.
- Record all maintenance activities in our Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system for seamless tracking and efficiency
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Plumbing.
- City and Guilds Water Regulations & Unvented Hot Water Systems (3345)ACS Gas – COCN1 Core Commercial Heating – Natural Gas Safety and Appliances.
- 5 Years post qualification experience of undertaking Mechanical Maintenance in Commercial / Industrial sector.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Confidence to deal with clients & the ability to work under pressure, willingness to become a key member of the team and being able to self-manage your own workload. It will be essential to be able to work both as part of a team and on an individual basis.
Additional Points:
Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
