Role Overview:
The IT Manager at P&J Live will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in Cisco technologies, including wireless, switches, telephony, and firewalls. The IT Manager will work closely with various departments to support events and day-to-day operations, ensuring that all IT needs are met promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Cisco wireless, switches, telephony, and firewalls.
- Oversee network configuration changes as required for events within the venue.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new IT solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment.
- Schedule and manage upgrades in collaboration with other departments to find suitable outage windows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network (LAN/WAN) performance issues.
- Document issue tickets and long-term changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide hands-on support for IT-related issues during events and daily operations.
- Collaborate with the European corporate IT team to ensure alignment with overall IT strategy.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with Cisco technologies, including wireless, switches, telephony, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network configuration and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an event support environment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
PLEASE NOTE: This role requires flexibility, including some evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will be based at P&J Live in Aberdeen but may need to travel to other venues as required.
